ADI Senior Consultant, Cloyd Hyten, to be named President of OBM Network

Atlanta, GA: At the May, 2010 Association for Behavior Analysis International Conference, Cloyd Hyten, a Senior Consultant with ADI,will be named President of the OBM Network.
The OBM Network, founded in 1982, focuses on areas such as training, performance, management, and systems analysis (increasing the way in which work gets done within organizations). This group, comprised of academics, consultants, clients, and students is dedicated to fulfilling its mission through networking, journal publication, newsletters, online resources, and a bi-annual conference.
With more than 20 years in the field of performance improvement, Hyten is adeptly prepared to extend the good work of the OBM Network. He has the experience and expertise from both an academic and a business perspective as he taught one of the nation’s best graduate programs on behavior analysis and started a consulting group that specialized in systemic solutions for organizations, all prior to joining ADI. Considered a thought leader in the field, Hyten also served on the editorial board of the Journal of Organizational Behavior Management.

Planning has begun on a 2011 OBM Network Conference that will bring OBM perspectives to management issues in human services. While many human service agencies and private clinics have grown rapidly to deal with expanding needs for autism services, many have yet to utilize performance management methods. The OBM Network will also continue to help build a “pipeline” for developing professionals by acting as a resource for students interested in careers in the area of business performance improvement.
