Organizational Behavior Management Network honors Dr. Judy Agnew for her significant contributions to the field of behavior analysis.
Atlanta, GA: (June, 2012) – The Organizational Behavior Management Network presented Dr. Judy Agnew, ADI’s VP of Safety Solutions, with the 2011 Outstanding Contribution Award at its annual conference in Seattle, WA this month.
With Judy’s 20+ years of consulting experience and recent groundbreaking contributions to behavioral safety, she is adeptly deserving of this prestigious honor. Judy has established herself as a thought leader in the field of performance management, and behavioral safety in particular. She has presented at major safety conferences and has been published in national media outlets, sharing her expertise and views on safety leadership, culture, and behavior-based safety in the workplace.
“Receiving this kind of recognition from my peers, many of whom I have studied through the years, and those who I have worked directly with, is quite a honor,” states Agnew. “The role of behavior in the workplace, particularly behavior related to creating a safety culture, is so important. Working directly with clients to affect a positive safety culture, from leadership through the frontline, has had a powerful impact on me personally, and I look forward to furthering this work in the field of behavior analysis and assisting my clients in the process.”
Judy is the author of Removing Obstacles to Safety (with Gail Snyder) and Safe By Accident? (with Aubrey Daniels). A native of Calgary, Canada, Judy earned her BA, MA, and Ph.D. in behavioral psychology from the University of Victoria. Judy currently lives in California with her husband and two children.
