Brian Molina, Ph.D.

Senior Consultant

Brian Molina has been in the field of Behavioral Science for over 11 years. He has a passion for developing leaders and helping them to apply science-based management strategies and tactics to enact positive, sustainable behavior change within their teams. Using his expertise in Organizational Behavior Management, Brian helps clients achieve results across a variety of business metrics including safety, quality, customer service, and culture change. 

Sample of Brian’s work includes:

  • Conducting Safety Culture Assessments (on-site and virtually) to identify enterprise and local level strengths and actionable improvement opportunities.  
  • Providing Safety Leadership implementation and coaching to leaders in Mining, Utilities, Manufacturing, and Construction.
  • Facilitating Behavioral Leadership training and coaching to leaders in Manufacturing and Financial Services.
  • Designing and analyzing the results of Workplace Culture surveys to measure and increase employee engagement.
  • Working with a storage hardware manufacturer/distributor to assess operator skill development needs. Designing and delivering learning and performance support to improve lean manufacturing practices, quality, and machine operation.
  • Improving the new hire onboarding program of a manufacturing company resulting in increased employee hiring capacity, retention, and job satisfaction.
  • Facilitating live-online and in-person leadership development workshops for front-line supervisors and managers at several food distribution centers.
  • Designing and developing training for warehouse material handlers to improve safe work behaviors and reduce inventory shrinkage.

Brian earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Behavior Management from Western Michigan University. His work focused on using the science of behavior to improve organizational and community outcomes using behavioral systems analyses and performance management solutions.

Brian has experience presenting for diverse audiences including conference participants at the American Society of Safety Professionals, American Evaluation Association, National Technical Assistance Center on Transition, and the Kinneret College. His work has been published in Behavior Analysis and Social Issues.

Brian currently resides in Kalamazoo, MI with his wife, two daughters, and dog. When not working, he enjoys getting outdoors and spending time with his family.
